Lee Mikyung is the 12th President of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). As she is the co-head of the Korea Women Parliamentary Network (KWPN), Ms Lee is an expert in education, gender equality, inclusive economic growth, and peace. Lee Nak-yeon is a South Korean politician who is the current Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea. Prime Minister Lee previously served as the governor of Jeollanam-do province and worked as a journalist for the Dong-a Ilbo. He also served as a member of the National Assembly of Korea for four terms as a law maker. Prime Minister Lee earned his bachelor’s degree in law from Seoul National University.

Chancellor Kurz studied law at University of Vienna and was also previously a member of Vienna’s city council. Since October 2011, Park Won Soon is the Mayor of Seoul Metropolitan Government. Before taking office as Mayor of Seoul, Mayor Park worked as a human rights lawyer centering on the democracy and human rights movement in Korea. He is also the President of Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI), a leading global network and a board member of the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy.

Ban Ki-moon, who was the 8th Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) from January 2007 to December 2016, is currently the Honorary Chair of Institute of Global Engagement & Empowerment (IGEE) at Yonsei University. Prior to joining the UN, Mr. Ban has served as South Korea’s Minister of Foreign Affiars and as a diplomat. During his ten year tenure, his leadership led United Nations to achieve the establishment of the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.

Natalia Kanem is the 5th Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). She has a strong leadership experience in the fields of medicine, public and reproductive health, health rights, international peace, social justice, and philanthropy. Helen Clark, a New Zealand politician, served as the 37th Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1999 to 2008. As Ms. Clark was New Zealand’s second female Prime Minister, she was the first to lead her party to an electoral victory.
